1. Acceptance

By installing, opening, purchasing, restoring, or using ChatGPT Export, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension, checkout, restore, or license services.

2. Service Description

ChatGPT Export helps you export ChatGPT conversations from Chrome into file formats such as PDF, DOCX, Markdown, HTML, TXT, JSON, ZIP, or clipboard output. Export controls may appear directly on the ChatGPT conversation screen and in the Chrome extension popup. ChatGPT Export is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI.

3. Free And Pro Access

Free includes unlimited last-response and clipboard exports plus 5 full-conversation exports each month. Pro removes the chat-export limit and unlocks bulk projects, HTML/ZIP, visual message selection, templates, redaction, Notion, custom watermark controls, and purchase restore.

Pro licenses are tied to the purchase email.
Each Pro license may be activated on up to 3 trusted devices.
Device access may be revoked from support or admin tools when needed.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, And Cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until canceled. If a subscription is canceled, Pro access remains available through the current paid period. One-time plans provide lifetime Pro access for the purchased product version and supported service.

Unless required by applicable law, paid charges are not refundable after checkout is completed. Pricing, discounts, and included features may change for future purchases. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right that applies to you.

5. Restore And Email Access

Purchase restore uses the purchase email and one-time restore links or codes. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account. Restore links may expire and may be limited to trusted devices for license protection.

6. Exported Content Responsibility

You are responsible for the conversations and files you export, store, share, or publish. Only export content you have permission to use. You must handle confidential information, personal data, third-party material, and workplace or client data according to the rules that apply to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use ChatGPT Export to violate laws, bypass access controls, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute harmful content, overload backend services, reverse engineer paid license checks, or interfere with the extension, checkout, restore, or admin systems.

8. Privacy

Conversation export processing is designed to happen in the extension. The backend supports checkout, license validation, restore, analytics events, email messages, and admin support. We do not use ChatGPT conversation content for advertising or sell it. See the Privacy page for more detail.

9. Availability And Platform Changes

The extension depends on Chrome APIs, browser behavior, and ChatGPT page structure. Export behavior, inline controls, format support, or Pro features may change when Chrome, ChatGPT, Stripe, email providers, hosting providers, or related platforms update.

10. No Warranty

ChatGPT Export is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect formatting, compatibility with every ChatGPT page state, or preservation of every piece of source content in every export format. This does not exclude warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Liability Limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChatGPT Export is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the extension, exported files, license services, checkout, or restore features. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

12. Changes And Contact

These Terms may be updated when product behavior, pricing, checkout, restore, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For a material change, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before it takes effect when required by applicable law.
